Sometimes life can be magical and breathtaking. Through a beautiful ballet of circumstances, I found myself on April Fool’s day roaming Vancouver in a stretch limo with a bunch of Bouffons let loose. Their idea: inject some joy, freedom and exuberance into the city’s vital tissue. Trilby Jeeves, Vancouver’s Bouffon priestess, put together this wild Flashmob
. Through her Buffoonery workshops
, she encourages participants to let go of their hang ups and banish their inner critic.
Another beautiful encounter was discovering brilliant photographer and DOP Michael Julian Berz who filmed this vital short film on the Flash Mob.
Highly inspirational and intuitive work. Very grateful to observe how and what another photographer sees while filming the same event. Very nourishing. Can’t wait to craft the story I filmed around the FlashMob and the power of the Bouffon. The dog days are over!
